September 23rd is Bi Visibility Day (also known as International Celebrate Bisexuality Day), and this year I’m celebrating by knitting a pair of Bi Pride Socks.
They’re basic toe-up socks (56 stitches) with a gusset and a short-row heel, and I came up with the design by myself. I decided to go with even stripes in this pair, rather than follow the Bi Pride Flag exactly. I just love purple so much I wanted to give it and equal amount of space in the design as blue and pink.
I’m really excited about this project, and I’m inspired by all the possible variations of socks you could knit using these colors (like zig zag, stripes of varying width, intricate colorwork, you name it). I think I’m going to knit many more pairs of Bi Pride Socks in the future.
Superman’s suit was knitted?
Obviously awesome, but how did we not know this?
That must be some crazy fine knitting - and crazy tight suit - to show off his pecs like that

Hello everyone! Are you a queer and/or trans person of color who also knits, crochets, weaves, spins, etc? I’ve created a group on Ravelry specifically for us. Please join us! I’m hoping that we can group together to talk about crafting, give advice, deal with problematic aspects of the crafting community together… as well as set up knit- and crochet-a-longs and crafting circles, both online and locally!
Please join the group if you are on Ravelry! Please keep in mind that this is meant to be a safe space are mogii poc only, but I would appreciate any signal boosting of this post! I know there are more of us out there!! ~ <3
